I would like to start today’s musings by apologising for the silence that’s been going on. Life suddenly got very busy and I got very tired, which means very little get done in regards to pretty much everything. Also, summer finally arrived so I’ve been enjoying some outside time together with my family.

WoW in General

I’ve not had a whole lot of time to play WoW these last few weeks, but when doing so I’ve mainly been leveling together with a friend. She’s working on getting some characters leveled up on my main realm, and to help her we’re doing a Refer-a-Friend recruitment. It’s a lot of fun and the leveling is insanely fast!

Other than that I haven’t been doing much in WoW outside of raiding. I started playing my Hunter a bit, figuring I’d try to gear my alts up a bit in the downtime before the next expansion. Even now I’m still trying to get used to using focus instead of mana!

On Raiding

We’ve been cutting back on raiding since a lot of people are busy in Diablo 3, or with real life (or both!). We’ll usually go in once a week and clear Dragon Soul on our alts (or mains if enough people are online to manage Heroic modes). Sometimes we do old content for guild achievements, and last week we completed the guild achievements for Outland and Vanilla.

I got quite a bit of transmogrification gear out of those runs, and nearly got a complete T2 set. Sadly the chest never dropped, so I’ll have to go back if I want to get it (and I do!)

Diablo 3

Since I have the Annual Pass I got my Diablo 3 on release, and while I haven’t had all that much time to play I’m really enjoying it. Admittedly I never played any of its predecessors, but that’s not stopping me from having lots of fun in the new game.

I play a Monk (named Saga, of course) and am about halfway through Nightmare so far. Most of my friends and guild mates are much further than that by now, but I’ll keep going at my own pace and enjoy the game.

The Monk is a lot of fun. I enjoy their flashy spells and animations, and the fact that I get to run head first into mobs and punch their faces!

Another Warlock Competition

A fellow Warlock, Amijade, is hosting another Warlock inspired transmogrification competition. Where mine was about finding the worst outfit possible for your Warlock, hers is about finding the best; the epitome of a Warlock.

I’m going to start rummaging through my bank and void storage to see what I can come up with for this contest. I suggest you do the same!
